The Position:

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer the VP of Marketing will be responsible for leading a cross-functional marketing team, Content & Brand, Product Marketing, customer marketing, content marketing, events, analyst relations, and will work directly with the other members of the senior leadership team to achieve corporate objectives. The VP will lead with a growth mindset and agile approach and will be accountable for setting marketing priorities and goals in alignment with the needs and priorities of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set goals, plan, and prioritize across all areas of marketing, including brand, positioning, and growth.
  • Build and manage the product marketing strategy against our ICPs, and work closely with Product to shape launch strategies.
  • Maintain relationships and communicate with press/media about the company, product, team, and brand.
  • Collaborate on the company story, vision with the team, and ensure our communications add value to our audience and maintain a high-quality bar.
  • Collaborate on strategy across the company, be the voice of the customer, provide the marketing perspective, and serve as the liaison between product and GTM functions.
  • Shape all formal internal and external communications on product features and releases.
  • Drive Product Marketing insights into Product to help shape roadmaps.
  • Help to create sales and marketing collateral against products and customer segments.
  • Work with internal communications, brand, and demand gen teams to drive marketing success and revenue metrics against the whole product suite.
  • Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process.
  • Drive content creation such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts, in conjunction with Product and Marketing.
  • Deliver content to support the buyer’s journey and marketing campaigns. Your team with help to drive assets including dynamic presentations, demos and sales tools.


Key Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience as a senior leader in a SaaS business.
  • Experience with external and internal corporate communications.
  • Demonstrated success to drive the business by obtaining market insights, shaping product development, and fostering a customer-centric focus through the company.
  • 10+ years of professional experience of increasing responsibilities in product marketing roles.
  • Experience marketing cloud-based products, ideally through HR, customer success organizations.
  • Background in marketing to enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • You have a deep technical acumen, and blend that with phenomenal business and communication skills.
  • You are an exceptional storyteller and have an allergy to buzzwords.
  • You are comfortable working directly with customers.
  • Experience leading a team of 10, with multiple layers of management.
