Join the Product Marketing Team of the Year 2022! You’ll be responsible for Competitive Intelligence (CI) - running the full CI lifecycle from data gathering to analysis to enablement for the go-to-market team. You will be part of a great collaborative team in Product Marketing as well as work cross-functionally with Product and Enablement. This person will be a key player and valued resource in the understanding and utilization of CI as it extends throughout the company..


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing and developing best-in-class competitive intelligence deal support framework and processes, with a focus on the real-time delivery of messaging and field-ready tools for Sales, CS and Marketing. 
  • Providing timely, actionable sales tools, training, and consultative engagement to serve the needs of the field (cheat sheets, whitepapers, presentations, etc.) with defensible analysis/proof points, in close partnership with Gong’s Enablement team
  • Working with field enablement and field success teams to establish take-out approaches as part of standard sales plays
  • Serving multiple functions (Marketing, Product Marketing, Pricing, Customer Success, Sales, SE's, Partner organization) to ensure actionable resources and messaging are delivered, and domain knowledge is transferred at appropriate levels of depth. 
  • Organizing the articulation and explanation of our competitive differentiation via marketing content such as blogs, webinars, presentations etc., and working with our Demand Generation team on competitive marketing campaigns
  • Defining and reporting on competitive metrics to key stakeholders
  • Scaling a win/loss analysis program by conducting prospect and customer interviews regularly, managing data analysis, sharing insights across the org, and sourcing competitive case studies


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Competitive Intelligence, Product Marketing, Product Management or Strategy roles ideally in the B2B SaaS space
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and run full-cycle competitive intelligence processes at scale.
  • Acumen in understanding large amounts of data and information, and then refining them into key insights and recommendations. 
  • Confident communicator with executive presence and comfortable presenting to large groups including sale analytical and research oriented
  • Highly cross-functional, with the ability to partner with different teams across the company, especially with Sales
  • Self-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Stand out written communication skills; able to develop compelling value-based messaging
  • You have a BA or BS degree; MBA a plus
