  • Conduct deep technical research on tier 1 competitors using various methodologies, including competitive labs, customer conversations, internal SME conversations, 3rd party product research and partner organizations
  • Become the go-to person for product and sales engineering organizations on competitor product teardowns and technical insights, to ultimately influence Slack’s own product roadmap and strategy
  • Develop a broad understanding of the enterprise collaboration space and be able to identify technology advancements made by competitors
  • Collaborate with Slack and Salesforce integration teams, build a solid understanding of the joint opportunity that lies ahead, and create differentiation content against the competition

  • Collaborate with sales operations in gathering and analyzing competitive data during various stages of the sales cycle
  • Build key competitive assets and collateral that simplify technical and product details, so as to be easily consumed and appreciated by non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales/solution consultants/sales engineers to breakdown competitor demos and technical documentation to build a SWOT analysis
  • Lead sales enablement for all field-facing teams within Slack and engage directly with customers and prospects for deal support

What you should have:
