Product Marketing Manager II

Job Description

Threat Stack is looking for a strong candidate to join the existing marketing team as a Product Marketing Manager. We’re looking for a candidate to be the chief advocate and product evangelist for Threat Stack. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for product positioning, sales enablement, customer engagement, and educating potential users.


The ideal candidate has a natural ability to communicate effectively with the target audience and articulate the product’s value. Attention to detail and an eye for quality is key in this position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Messaging: Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Threat Stack in the market.
  • Content creation: Create blog posts, slide decks, web pages, videos, feature briefs, and whitepapers, always focused on value for the target audience.
  • Customer engagement: Develop a community of customer advocates and leverage it for reference and referral programs.
  • Sales enablement: Communicate Threat Stack’s value proposition to the sales team and develop sales tools that support the selling process.
  • Product launch: Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Market intelligence: Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how we win against them.


Requirements:

  • · 3+ years of Product Marketing experience in b2b software industry.
  • · Very strong written / verbal communication and presentation skills
  • · Experience working with SaaS and/or Security
  • · Experience with Dev / Ops community and technology
  • · Experience in or with Sales & Sales Engineering
  • · Bachelor’s Degree in business; marketing; computer science
  • · Excellent people and management skills to interact with customers, colleagues cross-functional teams, and third parties
