Product Marketing Manager

We do this by creating custom voice assistants that make it possible for companies to extend their brand in new and meaningful ways. Today, our customized voice AI solutions allow people to talk to phones, cars, smart speakers, mobile apps, coffee machines, and every other part of the emerging ‘voice-first’ world.


This Product Marketing Manager has the opportunity to drive the company’s product marketing activities across our growing SoundHound portfolio – defining key features, solutions, and individual component products within the full Voice AI offering. This is a unique opportunity to own the go-to-market planning for product releases, product content and collateral, and other product messaging needs focusing on our SoundHound platform. The ideal candidate offers a balance of strategy and analysis, with an understanding of planning and execution.


In this role you will:

  • Create marketing strategies that differentiate our offerings, communicate value to our customers and lead to successful and measurable outcomes
  • Develop product/feature/technology go-to-market plans for key products and services and oversee execution across channels
  • Work with acquisition and engagement teams to ensure outbound messages are driving qualified business leads
  • Collaborate with content marketing to inform them of key target customer needs and product/technology messaging and differentiation
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to inform and understand key features and differentiators
  • Partner with the business development team to provide education on products and capabilities, while hearing feedback from prospects and customers 
  • Perform market and competitive research and analysis, and develop strategies and messaging that strengthen SoundHound Inc. position in the market
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new product/feature needs and opportunities 
  • Develop sales enablement content to help sales teams position the product and use cases 
  • Develop compelling external product content including data sheets and product case studies, website content, blogs, webinars, solution guides, product launches, etc.


We would love to hear from you if:

  • You have 3+ years of product marketing or business consulting experience (a focus on voice technology products is a plus!)
  • You have 3+ years experience working with technology products and industries, ideally in the b2b space
  • You have a BA or BS in Business, ideally with a concentration in marketing. MBA preferred.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have the ability to juggle projects simultaneously, working both independently and collaboratively across functions.
  • You have demonstrable domain expertise in any of the following: content generation, sales collateral, go-to-market strategies, AI-based application development, or digital marketing and targeting.
  • You gave experience managing and developing new product marketing programs with clear data-driven results.
  • You gave experience managing and researching product positioning, competitive analysis, and product pricing.
  • You have a track record of building detailed plans and interacting with senior executive leadership
