Product Marketing Lead

The Marketing Team’s mission is to serve as the voice of the customer at Orum, and be the voice of Orum in the market through compelling brand, messaging, and demand generating programs. We are a mix of the left brain and right brain, balancing strategic thinking and measurement with creativity and experimentation. We lead with curiosity and empathy in our interactions with our prospects, customers, partners, and colleagues. Beyond our work responsibilities, we are also hungry learners, cultural anthropologists, outdoor enthusiasts, musicians, and artists.


The Product Marketing Lead will work closely with sales and product teams to develop product pricing models, key messaging, and value proposition.


What You'll Build

  • Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product features and their benefits. Initially, this means aligning customer and user education efforts through content across Sales Dev, Sales, and Customer Success teams
  • Create marketing programs (e.g. sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, ) that articulate the benefits of our products
  • Conduct market analysis to obtain understanding of the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators
  • Create sales content and tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycle
  • Help build a world-class Marketing organization from its inception, with the opportunity to lead a small team as the Product Marketing function scales


Requirements

  • You find strong alignment with Orum’s values of Excellence, Accountability, Stewardship, Integrity, No Jerks and Great Ideas Win
  • You have 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or similar Marketing role in a high growth B2B SaaS environment
  • You are an exceptional strategic thinker, written and verbal communicator, and project manager
  • You are raved about as a cross-functional leader and collaborator across Product, Demand Gen, Content, Sales Dev, and Sales teams
  • You are effective in prioritizing and managing your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • You are metrics-driven and analytical, and have a proven ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results
  • Strategy and management consulting experience highly desired.
