Product Marketing Director

The Product Marketing Director is a strategic and high-impact role for the organization responsible for defining and driving Seerist’s go-to-market product strategy. This role is the glue that binds our technology product strategy to the activities that will accelerate revenue. You’ll collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and customer service to develop compelling messaging and positioning, sales and marketing materials, and competitive insights.


The ideal candidate has 10+ years of product marketing experience at a technology or software company in the risk intelligence or security space, has an entrepreneurial mindset, is highly collaborative, and proven skills at creating a well-defined product marketing strategy. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.


Responsibilities:


  • Become an expert on Seerist and our client base to lead the product marketing function, create compelling and differentiating product messaging and positioning, and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive the growth and adoption of the product through targeted marketing strategies to increase product awareness and market share in the highly competitive SaaS landscape in which Seerist operates.
  • Lead communication of the product's benefits and features to both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
  • Keep current with the competitor landscape and update Seerist’s product positioning with your findings.
  • Partner with sales, client success managers, and product management to develop client feedback mechanisms to continue to hone and enhance the product offering(s) and incorporate that feedback into marketing strategies.
  • Develop marketing initiatives focused on customer engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement and sales operations to ensure sales and customer service teams have the expertise, training, and tools to successfully position Seerist.
  • Track the performance of product marketing activities using metrics and data to create a continuous improvement to optimize Seerist’s impact on the marketplace.
  • Experience in conducting market research on competitive landscape, pricing trends, and marketplace needs.
  • Work closely with demand generation marketing to implement innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives to capture market attention and interest.
  • Stay abreast of marketing trends and technologies that can enhance product marketing efforts.


Required Qualifications:


  • Demonstrable experience with product marketing with SaaS-based technology with deep skills in crafting compelling product positioning and messaging.
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3-5 years in the security, threat, or risk intelligence space.
  • Ability to clearly articulate the product’s unique value proposition and differentiators based on target buyers and marketplace needs.
  • Experience in developing and implementing go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates and managing product launch timelines and coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research and translating insights into actionable product marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and influence cross-functional teams as well as highly effective communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Expertise in creating a wide range of marketing materials, including sales enablement content, website copy, product datasheets, and case studies.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.


Desired Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Past product marketing experience in the B2B space, preferably tech
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; highly adaptable to changing priorities
